In Star Realms, players harness Trade to acquire new Ships and Bases from the vibrant Trade Row—a captivating array of cards drawn from the Trade Deck. Every turn comes with a choice: will you generate more Trade to enhance your deck or unleash Combat to take down your opponents and their Bases?

The objective is simple yet challenging: reduce your opponent's Authority score to zero and claim victory! This game accommodates up to six players, allowing for epic battles. Mix multiple decks or include Star Realms: Colony Wars for an expanded exploration of varied scenarios.

The latest version introduces exhilarating modes such as Boss, Hunter, and Free for All, all designed to elevate the multiplayer experience. Players can utilize ships and bases from all four factions, each boasting powerful Ally abilities that reward clever strategic plays using cards from the same faction.

As players acquire cards via Trade, they head to the discard pile, eagerly awaiting a chance to shuffle back into personal decks. Ships deliver their benefits before being discarded, while Bases are played face up and activated once per turn. Combat serves a dual purpose—it not only chips away at your opponent's Authority but also allows you to dismantle their Bases. Keep in mind that Outposts, a specific type of Base, must be neutralized before you can directly attack an opponent’s Authority.

Star Realms is designed to be easy to learn, making it a perfect choice for newcomers. However, mastering the game demands a deep understanding of strategy. Players often wrestle with tough decisions: should they capture the best card for themselves or deny their opponent a powerful move?
