These Gambits offer a thrilling twist to your gameplay, introducing mechanics that differ from the original set. Most notably, they enter play hidden, creating a sense of suspense and strategy. Players will discover that some actions and bonuses activate when a Gambit is revealed, while others have special abilities when scrapped.

At the start of the game, Gambits are dealt face down, allowing players to choose how many cards they want to distribute. Feel free to strategize by giving some players fewer Gambit cards as a handicap, adding an extra layer of complexity to your matches. Any unclaimed Gambit cards are placed into a separate face-down pile, while the Secret Outpost remains distinct, ensuring it isn’t shuffled with the Gambit cards or the Trade Deck.

As the game progresses, players hold their Gambit cards face down until they decide to unveil them. It's important to note that Gambits do not go into the trade deck, your hand, or personal deck, and they feature silver borders for easy identification. Reveal your tactical surprises at the beginning of your turn or during your Main Phase to gain the upper hand!
