Dixit: Odyssey

Dixit Odyssey invites you into a vibrant world of imagination and creativity, serving as both a standalone game and an exciting expansion for the beloved Dixit series, renowned for winning the prestigious Spiel des Jahres award in 2010.

In Dixit Odyssey, the gameplay mirrors the enchanting mechanics of Dixit. Each turn, one player takes on the role of the storyteller. This player chooses a card from their hand and offers a captivating word or phrase to describe it—keeping it just enigmatic enough to challenge the others. The other players then select cards from their own hands that they believe match the storyteller's description, submitting them for consideration.

Once all cards are revealed, players vote on which card they think belongs to the storyteller. If everyone, or no one, successfully identifies the storyteller's card, it results in a clever twist: the storyteller scores no points while all other players receive two! Otherwise, both the storyteller and the correct guessers earn three points each. Players also gain one point for every vote their card receives. As the game progresses, hands are replenished, and a new storyteller is chosen for the next round. The player with the highest score when the deck runs dry is crowned the winner!

Dixit Odyssey enhances the experience with a collection of 84 brand new cards, each boasting a unique and whimsical illustration by talented artist Pierô, with vibrant colors by Marie Cardouat, known from Dixit and Dixit 2. The standalone version features a folding game board, six exciting rabbit scoring tokens (for a total of 12), and a thoughtfully designed box that accommodates all previously released Dixit cards.

This engaging standalone version supports up to twelve players and introduces variant rules for team play and fresh ways to dive into the game with all those imaginative cards!
