This expansion introduces the exciting concept of Bridges, creating dynamic possibilities as you navigate the landscape. The Colorado Map is rich with new features, including specialized Construction Sites for building bridges and designated areas for Productive Settlements.

Experience the thrill of managing your resources as you contend with the picturesque rivers winding through deep canyons. These natural barriers define distinct regions on the map, but fear not! Constructing bridges on the crests of dams enables easier access between the thriving Productive Settlements. Just remember: once constructed, a Dam with a Bridge cannot be elevated for the rest of the game—choose your moments wisely!

The Productive Settlements bring fresh strategic layers with new action spaces: there are 4 in the Mountains Area, 3 in the Hills Area, and 3 in the Plains Area. To activate these settlements, simply place the required number of Engineers. Keep in mind, the cost in Credits to activate a Productive Settlement varies depending on whether bridges are part of your route from the Construction Site—strategically located on either the left edge of the Mountains and Plains Areas or the right side of the Hills Area.

Note that you will need the base game Barrage to enjoy this expansion, but it also pairs beautifully with the Barrage: Leeghwater Project expansion for even more strategic depth.
