Barrage is a thrilling resource management strategy game where players compete to construct magnificent dams, enhance their storage capabilities, and channel energy through pressure tunnels into their powerhouses. Each player represents one of four international industrial companies, racing to gather essential machinery, innovative patents, and brilliant engineers as they vie for prime locations in a fiercely contested Alpine region.

Two innovative and challenging mechanics await you in this captivating game:

First, careful planning is essential as you manage your actions and machinery. Action tokens and resources are organized on a unique Construction Wheel, which only brings your resources and actions back after a full turn. The key to success lies in efficiently managing this wheel, allowing you to access your resources and take actions before your opponents.

Secondly, the rivers depicted on the board represent a shared and highly contested resource. Players must intercept and store as much water as possible by constructing dams. While upstream dams can be costly, they provide the strategic advantage of blocking water flow to downstream dams. Always remember: water is never consumed. Instead, it flows back to the rivers, meaning your dam placements must be strategic to reclaim the water you’ve diverted from both yourself and your rivals.

Over the course of five rounds, players strive to meet power requirements reflected on a competitive power track while fulfilling the specific demands of personal contracts. By carefully placing a limited number of engineers, you can enhance your machinery to unlock new and more efficient construction actions.
