The dawn breaks, casting a gray light over the world, and the ancient vampires of noble clans must scramble back to their tombs. For the powerful, this is a simple task, but for the smaller, weaker vampires, survival hinges on teamwork. As the vampire lord, your strategy will revolve around playing low-value vampires together, ensuring you don’t get left behind!

In Vampire Queen, your cunning and strategy will be put to the test. Beware the ever-looming threat of the vampire hunter; nobody wants to end up with that unwelcome guest!

The deck features cards numbered from 1 to 13, along with four unique vampire queens boasting variable values and two dreaded vampire hunters. Players begin with a hand of 9 to 13 cards, depending on the player count, and the start player of each round has several options for their play: a single card, multiple cards of the same value, or a vampire hunter.

Vampire queens stand out, valued at a commanding 14 when played alone or in pairs, triplets, or quartets. They can also combine with other cards, adopting their value. Each player takes turns either passing or playing the same number of cards at a higher value. The player who plays the highest card(s) wins the round and leads off the next.

If a vampire hunter is played first in a round, it counts as zero and requires each player to play exactly one non-hunter card of their choice. The player who plays the highest card captures all played cards, leading the next round but cannot use the same vampire hunter they just claimed.

The round concludes when one or more players have emptied their hands. Players score points based on the remaining cards, with number cards worth their face value, queen cards valued at 14, and vampire hunter cards switching between 15 and 20 based on the specifics indicated. Players holding vampire hunters retain them for future rounds. After shuffling and dealing new hands, the player with the 20-card takes the lead.

At the end of five challenging rounds, the player with the fewest points reigns supreme. Will you outsmart your adversaries and rise to the top as the ultimate vampire lord? Gather your clan and play Vampire Queen today!
