Experience the mesmerizing journey of Tsuro, where simplicity meets strategy in a beautifully designed tile-laying game! Each player takes turns placing a tile alongside their token, guiding it along a path towards victory. Your mission? Keep your token on the board longer than your rivals! As the board fills up with tiles, finding empty spaces becomes a challenge. Watch out—your opponents' moves could extend your journey in directions you didn’t plan! With a captivating Asian spiritual theme, Tsuro invites you to traverse "the many roads that lead to divine wisdom." Embrace the quest for enlightenment as you navigate this abstract game that’s easy to pick up and play. Here’s how the action unfolds:

The game features tiles adorned with twisting paths, set on a 6x6 grid, with each player starting with their own token. During your turn, you’ll:

  • Place a tile from your hand on the board next to your token.
  • Move your token along the path, exploring until it hits an empty space, the edge of the board, or collides with another player’s token.

Should your token reach the edge or meet another token, you’re out of the game! The last player remaining with their token on the board claims victory. Your strategy lies in skillfully maneuvering your opponents towards each other or off the board while crafting a route that challenges their paths.

Tsuro is perfect for 2 to 8 players and wraps up in just 15 minutes, making it an ideal choice for gatherings of all kinds! Did you know? This game was originally patented by McMurchie in 1979 as the Squiggle Game, but it wasn’t published until later. It shares similarities with games like Metro and Spaghetti Junction, yet stands out with its unique charm and engaging gameplay.

Step into the vibrant world of Tsuro and discover the thrill of an enchanting journey where every turn brings new possibilities. Ready to play?
