Embark on a thrilling journey with the Ticket to Ride Map Collection 8: Iberia & South Korea! This exciting expansion allows you to build rail networks across two vastly different peninsulas, each offering unique challenges and gameplay experiences.

In Iberia, the adventure begins with players drafting six destination cards, keeping four to guide their strategy. But beware! With only 35 trains at your disposal, fulfilling those eight destination cards becomes a test of skill and foresight. As you traverse the board, you can collect mesmerizing festival cards from a deck of 54, each one waiting to enhance your journey. When you connect to a city adorned with festival cards, you’ll have the opportunity to gather them, increasing your score with every collection. The more cities you connect to, the greater your rewards at the game’s conclusion!

Next up is the vibrant landscape of South Korea, where the gameplay begins similarly with six destination cards. Routes here are color-coded—blue in the northeast, yellow in the northwest, and so on—adding an extra layer of strategy. When claiming routes, players can place their trains on a province mat, filling in spaces that correspond to the colors of the train cards played. Feel free to play more cards than necessary to claim a route; this allows you to cover a higher value on the province mat!

Every player wields "express train" cards, offering +1, +2, or +3 enhancements. Use them wisely on your turn to draw more train cards, gain additional destination tickets, or boost your claims on the province mat. At the end of the game, evaluate your provinces carefully; players with the highest sums in each color will earn coveted bonus points!
