In this thrilling battle of wills, one player embodies Mary King, a contemporary woman enjoying a holiday in the eerie streets of Edinburgh. The other player transforms into the ghost of her 17th-century Scottish ancestor, also named Mary King.

As the modern Mary explores the shadowy depths of Mary King's Close, she unwittingly awakens the spirit of her ancestor. This restless specter is desperate to reclaim her life by possessing her descendant's body. Dive into a strategic contest for control over Mary King’s psyche, represented by a unique set of 12 tiles arranged in a 4 x 3 grid.

Each tile flips between the two players’ influence, as they play control and power cards, dynamically shifting the balance of the game. The adventure unfolds over five days, from Monday to Friday, with the ghost player always taking the first turn. As the week progresses, both Marys grow increasingly desperate and exhausted, limiting their control cards while expanding their strategic pursuits.

At the end of each turn, players face penalties based on the tiles controlled by their opponent, intensifying the stakes in this supernatural duel. The game can conclude in one of several gripping ways: achieve immediate victory by completing the image of Mary using all 12 tiles, or exhaust your opponent's cards for a win. If the week ends without a clear victor, a scoring system based on remaining cards and control will determine the ultimate champion.
