Welcome to The Game, a thrilling challenge where players strive to discard all 98 cards from the deck onto four strategic discard piles! It’s a race against time and opponents, and only the most cunning players will emerge victorious.

At the start, each player begins with 6-8 cards in hand, depending on the number of participants, while four discard piles await with unique prompts: two featuring “1” alongside an up arrow and two showcasing “100” with a down arrow. The rules are simple yet engaging: on your turn, you must discard at least two cards onto one or more of the discard piles, following specific rules. Cards on the “1” piles need to be placed in ascending order, while cards on the “100” piles must be in descending order.

But here’s where it gets intriguing! Players can play a card that is exactly 10 higher or lower than the top card of a discard pile, even if it goes against the ascending or descending order. For example, if an 87 tops a “100” discard pile, you can drop in a card lower than 87—or surprise everyone by playing a 97!

After every turn, players refill their hands from the deck, adding an exciting layer of strategy. While you can’t reveal the exact numbers of cards in your hand, you can give hints or warn fellow players about certain discard piles, adding a fun twist to the game.

Once the deck runs dry, the gameplay gets even more dynamic. Players are only required to play at least one card during their turn. The ultimate goal? Discarding all 98 cards to claim victory! For those looking for an extra challenge, the rules encourage players to aim for at least three card plays per turn, making each game an exhilarating test of skill and strategy!
