This iconic game draws its roots from L'Attaque, originally created by Mademoiselle Hermance Edan in France in 1909. While not identical, it shares essential features such as numbered pieces, spies that can outsmart stronger pieces, a flag to protect, and powerful bombs. Additionally, Stratego is believed to be influenced by ancient Chinese games like Lu Zhan Jun Qi and the beloved children's game, Jungle.
