Tarot Storia is an enchanting experience for solo players or a delightful cooperative game for two. With both Japanese and English editions available, this game invites you to weave captivating tales through the art of storytelling.

As a player, you’ll begin your journey with one card in hand and draw a second, setting the stage for storytelling magic. Cards must be played to a tableau in a unique overlapping pattern, either to the left or right. In solo mode, each column can house up to four cards, while in two-player mode, the limit is three. You always have the option to exchange a played card for one from your hand—but watch out! Before drawing for your next turn, you'll need to ensure your hand is back down to just one card.

Once all cards have found their place, the true challenge begins. Turn face-down any cards that sit next to a card of a lower number, and then craft paths from the far left to the far right of your tableau. This is where your imagination truly shines—each path represents a story waiting to unfold! Any cards not part of a valid path will also be turned down.

In the end, you’ll score based on color groups, while deductions come from your face-down cards and gaps in your tableau. Keep some columns, shuffle your deck, and prepare for a thrilling second round, where you’ll cement your final score and earn the King’s favor!

For those who choose to play with a friend, the mechanics remain the same—except now both players work with two cards each. Collaboration is key, but remember, you cannot discuss which card to play until after it's chosen. Your final score will put your friendship to the test!
