In this enchanting world of Res Arcana, an Alchemist brews potions high in a tower, while a Druid grinds sacred herbs in a lush grove. Meanwhile, deep within the catacombs, a Necromancer conjures a fearsome bone dragon. Are you ready to master the arcane?

In this captivating game, essence is the lifeblood of magic. Harness the potent forces of Life, Death, Elan, Calm, and Gold as you choose your mage and gather these essential energies. Craft unique artifacts to summon mighty dragons, conquer powerful locations, and ultimately claim victory!

A typical game unfolds over 4-6 thrilling rounds packed with strategic depth. Each round consists of the following steps:

1. Collect Essences: Activate any Collect abilities and gather essences from various components.

2. Take Actions: Players take turns, starting with the First Player. You can place an artifact, claim a monument or Place of Power, discard a card for 1 Gold or any 2 other essences, utilize a power on a straightened component, or pass by exchanging magic items and drawing a card. Play continues until all players have passed.

3. Pass Procedure: Be the first to pass and you'll snag the First Player token, swap your current magic item for a different one, and draw a card.

4. Victory Check: Count your victory points. If no one has reached 10+ VPs, straighten all turned components and dive into the next round.

With every decision, every essence gathered, you'll weave your path to mystical supremacy. Engage your friends and family in this magical adventure that promises to be both thrilling and rewarding!
