Each Wind Turbine has its unique pin points, allowing for flexible placement! You can use any Placement token as a wild card, bypassing the need for the corresponding standard pawn. This exciting mechanic mirrors the gondolas from the Canals Expansion and the Lookout Towers from the Forest Expansion, enhancing your gameplay experience.

To connect your Wind Turbines to the Town tiles, you'll need to strategically lay down Energy Cables. Think of these cables as a special type of route, with a unique twist: they don’t traverse the middle of tile edges like conventional railways or highways. Instead, they cleverly run across the corners of the tiles, adding an intriguing layer to your strategy.

Mastering the network of cables is crucial! While managing these connections might seem complicated, placing a cable at the right corner can allow you to power three tiles to the grid in one strategic move. Talk about efficiency!

Remember, Wind Turbines don’t earn you points when constructed. However, at the end of the game, each of your Town tiles awards you 1 point for every 2 Wind Turbines it connects to. Crafting your town placements and directing Energy Cables to maximize connectivity with minimal resources is key to dominating the scoreboard!

But wait, there’s more! The Energy Expansion introduces unique objectives that elevate the challenge. For instance, the Solar Farm requires connections on all four corners, while the Casino must be surrounded by at least two powered Town tiles.
