Gather at a lively bird feeder as you embark on a mission to collect seeds and curate your very own avian collection. Each turn brims with excitement as you play your bird cards, all while aiming for the highest score possible.

What sets Piepmatz apart is its unique scoring system. Not only will you earn points for collecting seeds, but you'll also be rewarded for creating mated pairs of birds and claiming dominance in various species. Strategy is key!

Card placement plays a vital role in your decisions. Choose a bird card from your hand and place it face up on one of the feeder's perches. Then, compare it to the birds gathered on the ground to strategize your next exciting move!

The game unfolds through three simple yet captivating phases:

  • Play a Card: Select a bird card from your hand and position it on your chosen perch.
  • Resolve Effects: Compare the bird on the perch to those on the ground. Will you take a seed card or add a bird to your collection? And don’t forget to move a bird to the feeder!
  • Draw New Cards: Replenish your hand to keep the excitement rolling.

As the game progresses and the feeder deck depletes, each player enjoys an equal number of turns. This leads to a thrilling final selection round, where players discard two bird cards from their hands. The remaining cards bolster their collections as everyone gears up for the exhilarating final scoring!

Points are tallied based on the seeds collected, mated pairs formed, and the majority of species represented. The player with the highest score claims victory, showcasing their incredible skills in the captivating world of Piepmatz!
