Use tactical card play to secure tricks and deftly maneuver across the board. Will your clever strategies score you the love tokens and pebbles needed to triumph, or will a more cunning opponent push you out of the way?

How to Play

On your turn, make strategic choices that can turn the tide:

  • Play a card to aim for a trick and earn a coveted love token!
    • The starting player sets the lead suit.
    • The highest card value in the lead suit wins the trick.
    • Remember, you don’t have to follow suit!
  • Take two actions based on your chosen card:
    • Place a unit on a space that matches the number on your played card.
    • Activate a power from your card:
      • The Scurry suit (carriage icon) lets you move up to two units 1 or 2 tiles each.
      • The Court suit (heart icon) allows you to place one penguin unit or a pebble token featuring two or more penguins.
      • The Collect suit (diamond icon) empowers you to place a pebble token on any tile.
      • The Push suit enables you to move any player's penguins from a tile where you have a penguin to adjacent tiles.
  • Go Fishing to draw a new card from the card row and score a bonus fish token!

Achieve victory by:

  • Controlling key spaces and territories.
  • Collecting Love Tokens and Fish Tokens.
