In The Color Monster, players embark on a heartwarming journey to assist the lovable Monster in identifying his emotions. Each turn involves rolling a die to navigate the Monster across a colorful board. Players will encounter various emotion tokens scattered throughout the spaces, which they can collect to help the Monster understand his feelings.

To match the emotion tokens with their corresponding jars, players must venture to the shelves where the jars are hidden from view. With a touch of strategy, they have to select the jar that corresponds to the color of the emotion. Success means the emotion token can be placed in the right jar, but failure means the jar must be returned to the shelf without revealing its color.

What makes this game truly engaging is the special challenge players face: in order to collect an emotion token, they need to share a personal memory or a moment when they felt that emotion—whether it's happiness, sadness, anger, fear, or calm. Be mindful, though; if the Monster gets too confused by too many mixed emotions, players may lose the game. However, by working together and placing all the emotions in their correct jars, they can celebrate a joyful victory!
