Embark on an enchanting adventure with Northwest, a thrilling tableau-building game designed for 2 to 4 players. Experience a fresh take on strategy with its unique point salad scoring and innovative shared movement mechanics.

Taught in under 3 minutes, Northwest strikes the perfect balance between luck and strategy, making it accessible for players of all skill levels.

During each turn, players draft a memento cube from the exploration board by maneuvering the shared exploration token onto the cube, integrating it into their personal tableau. The previously captured memento cube dictates the next player's available moves, offering exciting challenges:

  • Bees/Honey: Move in an L-shape, just like the Knights in Chess.
  • Mushrooms: Move into any of the 8 surrounding spaces.
  • Ferns: Move into one of 4 orthogonal spaces.
  • Maples: Move into one of 4 diagonal spaces.
  • Bigfoot: Move into any space in the same column or row.

Your journey takes shape as you create a 4x4 tableau, tracking the memento cubes you've drafted from the exploration board. Each cube scores victory points (VPs) in an exciting and unique way. The game concludes when a player can no longer make a legal move on the exploration board or when all players have filled their personal tableau. The player with the highest VPs triumphs!
