Step into a thrilling new chapter of survival with Nemesis: Aftermath, where the suspense continues beyond the base game’s gripping conclusion. The standout feature, Epilogue Mode, invites players to dive into a compact yet intense adventure, lasting just 45-60 minutes across 5 thrilling turns.
Set in the haunting remnants of the Nemesis spaceship, players assume the roles of fresh Characters who weren't part of the original game. Unravel the mysteries that linger aboard, as the ship’s battle scars reveal how previous players’ actions shape your experience. Each game is unique, with lasting impacts from prior sessions enriching the unfolding story.
While the Epilogue game may be shorter in duration, it promises unparalleled challenges and an exhilarating, dynamic gameplay experience. Move beyond basic Objectives to navigate Personal Requirements that seem straightforward but demand collaboration to conquer various Alerts. For those with a touch of greed, accepting the Lucrative Offer could provide tempting rewards at a cost.
Adding an exciting twist, the Shuttle Board opens up a new small ship, bringing four additional Room slots into play, enhancing strategy and opportunities for exploration. Plus, with four new Rooms included, the thrill of discovery multiplies!
What's more, you can engage in the Epilogue even with fewer players than in the regular game, making it accessible for smaller groups looking to experience the rich storytelling of Nemesis.
TRAITS: With Nemesis: Aftermath, the game introduces the innovative Trait cards for each Character, both from the base game and this expansion. These cards offer unique advantages and disadvantages, remaining active for the duration of your gaming session. Place your Trait card face up beside your Character board to keep the game fresh and strategic.
NEW CHARACTERS: This expansion boasts five brand-new Characters. During the selection process, players will use Character draft cards, allowing them to choose between either a base game or an Aftermath character in a chosen color. For example, players can opt for the red Aftermath Character, the Convict, replacing the Soldier from the base game. Each player retains their draft card, ensuring no one else can select the same color character, creating a strategic dynamic. Note that the Convict and Soldier can never co-exist in the same game, emphasizing unique gameplay experiences.
Unleash a new wave of excitement and tension with Nemesis: Aftermath—where every decision counts and every moment could spell your doom or deliver your salvation!
