My First Bohnanza is a delightful introduction to the beloved classic game Bohnanza, crafted especially for younger players. In this enchanting version, players compete to gather the most Talers by the end of the game, just like in the original.

This family-friendly game showcases a variety of charming bean cards, each featuring a number that signifies how many beans are in the deck. To make gameplay a breeze for kids, a user-friendly 'beanometer' is included on the cards, indicating the exchange value for harvesting beans.

In My First Bohnanza, players will discover four types of beans with a single exchange value, as well as six types with two harvesting values. For newcomers, it’s recommended to start with the single beanometer cards, saving the extra options for future plays.

At the beginning of each game, players receive five face-up cards and a beanfield tile. This allows them to plant two types of beans right away. On their turn, players will plant the leftmost card in one of their fields and may choose to plant a second card as well. The goal is to group similar beans in the same field, although different types may need to be covered when necessary.

Once planting is complete, players will draw two new cards from the deck and can either keep them or trade with others. Remember, all traded cards must be planted immediately! To end their turn, players draw three additional cards to add to their row. Once a player gathers the required number of bean cards in one field, they can harvest by placing the harvested cards in the discard pile and earning a Taler from the stack. This clever mechanic allows players to re-use any beans they've covered along the way.

The excitement continues until the deck has been played through one to three times, depending on the number of players. The player with the most Talers at the end claims victory!

As players become more familiar with the game, they can introduce the double beanometer cards for an added strategic twist on when to harvest. Players can also combine the decks, making one bean card count as a Taler, which adjusts that type's availability.

With gradual incorporation of additional rules from the original Bohnanza, My First Bohnanza promises a rich and enjoyable experience. Immerse yourself in a whimsical adventure of bean farming, where strategy and fun come together for the entire family!
