In a majestic display of Roman power, he commanded the construction of a monumental wall, a steadfast barrier separating the Pict tribes from the rest of England. This grand endeavor spanned a remarkable 80 Roman miles from coast to coast, serving the Empire for nearly 300 years before succumbing to time. Today, Hadrian's Wall proudly stands as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with remnants of its forts, towers, and turrets inviting exploration.

In Hadrian's Wall, players assume the role of a Roman General entrusted with crafting a milecastle and its adjoining wall. Over the course of six thrilling years (rounds), you will build strongholds, fortify defenses, and entice civilians by offering essential services and entertainment. All the while, you'll defend the honor of the Roman Empire against the encroaching Picts.

Your goal is to accumulate the most renown, piety, valor, and discipline, avoiding disdain along the way. The player who best exemplifies the virtues of a true Roman citizen will earn the coveted title of Legatus Legionis and earn the Emperor’s favor!
