Here, you and your friends are locked in a chaotic competition to vanquish beasts and collect magical items. And oh, what treasures await! Gear up with the Horny Helmet or strap on the Boots of Butt-Kicking. Wield the Staff of Napalm or the infamous Chainsaw of Bloody Dismemberment. Begin your journey by dispatching the Potted Plant and Drooling Slime, before challenging the fearsome Plutonium Dragon.

With whimsical illustrations by John Kovalic, Munchkin is fast-paced and hilariously ridiculous, guaranteeing endless laughter as players plot to steal from one another.

As a proud member of the Munchkin series, this card game parodies the beloved clichés and bizarre elements of Dungeons and Dragons and other role-playing games. Each player starts at level 1, and the goal? Be the first to reach level 10!

Throughout the game, players can acquire classic D&D-inspired character classes, which will influence the cards they play. The gameplay features two types of cards: treasure and encounters. Each player begins their turn by kicking down the door, drawing an encounter card from the deck which typically involves battling an array of monsters. Monsters are ranked by their levels, and players will need to utilize their strength, weapons, and powers to conquer threats or risk fleeing for their lives. Don’t forget – your friends can choose to aid or hinder you by adding more monsters to the mix!

Defeating a monster grants treasure cards and levels, while failing to overcome one leads to “bad stuff,” like losing levels and valuable items.

Exciting updates have been made since May 2010, including notable changes in rules and cards, known as The Great 2010 Munchkin Changeover. Munchkin enthusiasts will be delighted to see the return of the Kneepads of Allure, now modified for balanced play.
