At the start of each round, players receive a hand of five action cards, each representing distinct opportunities. In an exhilarating exchange, you’ll select one card to play while passing the rest to your neighbor. Players then take turns executing their chosen actions and strategically placing their diamond-shaped tokens on the board.

In the Workshops, points are awarded based on the size of your connected token groups, with bonus points available for clever placement on pigment fields. The Residences offer scoring based on token positioning, providing extra rewards for each preceding token of your color.

In the Townspeople area, an innovative pyramid scoring system encourages you to stack tokens at varying heights for maximum rewards, including potential bonuses for matching symbols on your cards. The Trade Shops reward strategic positioning of your tokens—yielding points based on the number of goods covered—while scoring in the Harbor is determined by where your ship lands, unlocking additional scoring opportunities as you fill rows.

Throughout each round, players can earn bonus cards by fulfilling specific conditions linked to various areas. This tapestry of interconnected gameplay means claiming one bonus could trigger a chain reaction, propelling you toward even greater scores.
