Memoir '44: The Battles of Khalkhin-Gol

Set along the Halha River on the Soviet-Japanese border at the dawn of World War II, this expansion captures the dramatic encounters between the Japanese Sixth Army and the Soviet 57th Special Corps, bolstered by fearless Mongolian cavalry. What began as brief skirmishes quickly transformed into a full-scale war, culminating in a hard-fought Soviet victory after five intense months.

The six standard scenarios can be played individually or as a cascading campaign, where the outcome of each scenario profoundly influences the next. Among the exciting Breakthrough scenarios included are the pivotal Bain Tsagan Heights and Tightening the Noose, which seamlessly integrate into the overarching narrative. Additionally, players can engage with the Overlord scenario, Encirclement at Khalkhin-Gol, adding another layer of strategy to your battles.

Don’t miss the second Overlord scenario, Cape Torokina Landings, which takes players to a later clash between U.S. Marines and Japanese forces at Cape Torokina, providing a different yet equally fierce experience outside the main campaign.

This expansion also enriches your battlefield with six Soviet BA-10 Armored Cars and six Japanese Type 97 Te-Ke tankettes, enhancing many included scenarios and adding depth to your strategic options.
