Step into the vibrant Italian city-states of the early 1500s, where art symbolizes both beauty and power. In a world where workshops vie for prestige, legendary masters such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo Buonarroti shape their legacies through stunning creations, including frescoes and marble statues.

These artistic masterpieces journey across courts and palaces, captivating nobles and citizens alike. However, excelling in this competitive landscape means more than just creating remarkable art; it requires winning the favor of wealthy patrons. Through charm and reputation, workshops aim to draw influential Collectors into their galleries and secure lasting support.

In Maestro, players navigate the rivalry between Michelangelo and da Vinci’s workshops, competing for fame and aristocratic attention throughout the Italian peninsula. Each workshop can be represented by a single player or a team, making for an engaging multiplayer experience.

During gameplay, players take turns executing actions, creating unique Artworks, and exhibiting their art in the northern provinces. The objective is to influence the tastes of powerful Collectors while competing for visibility among the local elite. After four rounds, the workshop with the most victory points is crowned the winner, earning the title of the most iconic artist of the Renaissance!
