Begin with a line of four trolls, each generating a specific combination of resources: gold, stone, iron, marble, carts, runes, and hammers. When you hire a new troll, position it above two existing trolls to form a pyramid. The newly hired troll activates immediately, gaining its resources while also activating the trolls below it, providing a surge of resources as they combine their outputs. Strategically hiring more trolls will lead to increasing windfalls, especially as the game progresses.
