Imperial Miners is an engaging, light engine-building card game designed for 1 to 5 players by the talented Tim Armstrong, known for titles like Arcana Rising and Orbis. Set in the captivating Imperial Settlers universe, this stand-alone adventure invites players to excavate mines through an innovative card activation system.

In Imperial Miners, players construct their unique mines by strategically placing cards in their personal tableau. Starting from the surface, they delve deeper with every card added. Each new card activates itself and triggers all the cards above it, creating exhilarating chain reactions and powerful combos that make every turn exciting.

The game features cards from six distinct factions, each providing unique strategies and opportunities for synergy. Players can mix and match these factions to optimize their mines and secure the best results, fostering creativity and tactical planning.

An added layer of strategy comes from the progress boards. At the beginning of the game, three out of six available boards are randomly selected, each with its own strategic focus. As players advance on these boards, they unlock additional bonuses that enhance their tableau, amplify card synergies, gather victory points, and create even more rewarding combos. The variability of progress boards ensures that no two games are the same!

With its impressive replayability, Imperial Miners boasts a diverse array of cards and flexible progress boards. Players take turns simultaneously, ensuring that gameplay flows smoothly and wraps up in about 45 minutes. The straightforward rules, stunning artwork, and richly satisfying engine-building mechanics come together to create a delightful experience for both casual gamers and seasoned strategists alike.
