Step into the heart of Helsinki with this captivating board game set against the backdrop of the iconic Senate Square, surrounded by stunning government buildings, a prestigious university, the majestic cathedral, and the historical Sederholm House.

In this engaging game, your mission is to design beautiful pavilions across the square to shelter pedestrians from the rain. While inspired by the acclaimed design of Copenhagen, Helsinki introduces a layer of added complexity that will challenge even the most seasoned players.

The center of the game features a detailed board depicting the Senate Square, complete with 8 spaces (two on each side) and 8 uniquely designed cards, each linked to two spaces.

On your turn, move your pawn forward 1-3 spaces, then choose whether to draw cards or construct a pavilion. Each space connects to two visible cards from which you can draw, but be cautious of the 7 card hand limit—a key strategic element that keeps the gameplay thrilling. The cards come in 5 vibrant colors, each representing shapes ranging from size 2 to 5.

Ready to build? Play a card that matches the piece you wish to construct, then use additional cards of the same color to meet the size requirements. The piece must be "slid" onto your personal game board from the same side of the Senate Square your pawn occupies. Covering specific spaces earns you a coat of arms, which can be exchanged for powerful one-time actions from a pool of 15 special options.

Score points by completing rows and columns, and strategize to outmaneuver your opponents! The player with the most points at the end is declared the winner, proving their mastery in the art of pavilion design.
