In Pickomino, two to seven players, ages 8 and up, engage in a lively quest to secure fried worms for their chickens to keep them well-fed. Players will find themselves vying for delicious worms while also having the chance to snatch from their opponents if they miss out.

This fast-paced game by renowned designer Reiner Knizia captures the excitement of gambling with a playful chicken twist, similar to other beloved titles like Hick Hack im Gackelwack.

During each turn, players roll their dice and set aside those that match a chosen value. The remaining dice are then re-rolled, allowing players to secure more values until they decide to stop, either collecting a tile or risking it all. If a player rolls without successfully securing a tile, they must turn their highest tile face-down as a penalty.

Notably, the German edition from Zoch includes English rules in the box, making it accessible to a wider audience. The Dutch edition is part of the Jakkie & Bak Collection, while the German edition is included in The Chicken Family lineup from Zoch.
