“Okaasan said that if fortune favors us and we work hard, some of us may be lucky enough to inherit the teahouse.”

Step back into the enchanting world of Hanamikoji with Hanamikoji: Geisha's Road! This captivating two-player game takes you beyond the original Hanamikoji, introducing a dynamic Geisha movement and innovative roundel system that diversifies your strategic options.

Engage in a competitive strategy game filled with implicit intentions and hidden actions, where you become rival yet friendly patrons supporting Yoko, Tomoyo, and their fellow apprentices on their journey from maiko to esteemed geisha—perhaps even to the esteemed position of okaasan, the teahouse owner.

Help your chosen geisha advance in prestige as they perform their exquisite art at various teahouses. Starting as apprentices (maiko), these talented individuals will score prestige points after gathering the necessary patronage to return to their original teahouse (ochaya) for their graduation ceremony (erikae).

Some geisha may even continue along their path, eventually inheriting the teahouse after a second return, gaining additional prestige points as the new okaasan.

At the game's conclusion, the player who has provided the most support to each geisha will be recognized. Will you emerge victorious by backing the most prestigious group of geisha?
