In this engaging game, the gregarious gorillas employ social grooming techniques to rid their fellow apes of pesky dirt, insects, and debris hidden in the hard-to-reach places of their lush fur.

As players, your goal is to accumulate the most diverse and exotic collection of groomed goods. Do this wisely, and you’ll earn the admiration of your fellow primates, along with the coveted golden banana of victory!

Each player begins with a personal deck of face-down cards. Without looking at your hand, you’ll simultaneously trade or keep one or two cards at a time to build your unique collection. Once all cards have been either traded or kept, it’s time to tally your scores. But beware—pairs can cancel each other out, and some special cards may not be in your favor, so trade with caution!

Fans of the popular game Hanabi will enjoy the unique twist of Gussy Gorillas. Although players hold their cards facing away from themselves, this is not a cooperative memory game but a thrilling competitive showdown filled with negotiation and bluffing. Each card can be a game-changer—good or bad—depending on how you play your hand.
