Grabuge Chez Les Dahus, this exciting game invites you to strategize as you place your ibexes and cows onto the game board while navigating the risks of being pushed off the edge!

At the start of the game, players draw a random assortment of numbered tiles, creating their unique hand of potential moves. The game board features multiple rows of varying lengths, each waiting to be populated with your careful tile placements. Start by drawing four tiles and placing one in the leftmost position of each of the first four rows.

Each round is a test of simultaneous strategy. All players reveal their chosen tile at the same time, placing them on the board in ascending order of their numbers. The placement rules are as follows:

  • Lowest number: If a played tile has a number lower than the last tile in all four rows, it goes at the end of the row with the highest number.
  • Increasing number value: The number on the tile must be higher than the last tile in the selected row.
  • Smallest difference: Choose the row that yields the smallest difference between the newly placed tile and the last tile in that row. All four rows must be evaluated!

Scoring adds an exciting twist! When players position a tile on a negative space (or cowpie), they earn points based on its value, moving their pawn forward on the score track. However, beware of any uncovered "Happy Cow" spaces—players will incur point losses instead!

Completing a row unleashes a series of actions. When a player places a tile in the final space:
- They must score penalty points as indicated on that space.
- Move the newly placed tile to the first position of the next empty row.
- Finally, remove all remaining tiles from the completed row. Players can keep one or two tiles hidden behind their screen for future turns, while the rest are set aside for the game’s duration.

Strategic buying enhances gameplay! At the start of each round, players may purchase 1-3 random tiles for 1 point each. If a player uses their last tile in a round, they score a bonus with a free draw of six tiles! Players can hold a maximum of nine tiles at any time. If a double play space appears in any active row, players must reveal and play two tiles.

Keep an eye on the score track: during specific milestones, everyone reveals their tiles in order from lowest to highest points!

The excitement concludes when a player reaches the end of the score track or when there are no tiles left to buy. Complete the round, and the player with the fewest points emerges as the champion of the Dance of Ibexes!

Gather your friends, sharpen your strategic thinking, and prepare for a lively and unpredictable game night that promises fun and engagement for all!
