The race is on! Ants have stumbled upon an abandoned picnic blanket brimming with delectable treats, but there aren't enough sweets for every colony to feast on!

Gingham is an exhilarating game of confection connection that challenges players to strategically position their queens around the gingham picnic blanket. Deploy your ants to create links between sweets and seize valuable stockpiles!

In each round, the lead player decides which edge of the playing area will be the battleground. All players then place their queen adjacent to a row along this edge and deploy an ant within that row. But here’s the catch: you cannot send your ant beyond the stitch in the blanket. As you inch closer to the star at the end of the row, options become scarce.

The player who positions their queen nearest to the star becomes the leader for the next round! They can choose a row on any edge of the playing area, and players will take their turns based on the order of queens from the previous round. Will you prioritize a better position for turn order next round, or will you opt for more flexibility in ant placement this round?

Score points by connecting matching sweet tokens with a trail of your ants, surrounding them to claim stockpiles. Sweet tokens are stacked, but watch out for the leftover sugar cubes! Claim these precious cubes by placing your ants next to them, as they can be spent for powerful abilities. Stretch your ants across the blanket and gather the largest piles of sweets to showcase your pint-sized royalty!
