For Northwood! is an engaging solo hand management and precision trick-taking game where your mission is to unite the diverse kingdom of Northwood through harmonious dialogues with its rulers.

Throughout the course of eight thrilling rounds, you will embark on a journey to visit eight unique animal fiefs, each governed by its own ruler. Your strategy will revolve around engaging in intricate conversations—referred to as "tricks"—to secure their allegiance. Every ruler represents a different suit, which serves as the trump for their fief, adding depth to your gameplay.

The challenge increases as each ruler has a specific number of tricks you must win to form an alliance. This means that as the game progresses, your options will become more limited, pushing you to think strategically.

You'll begin your adventure with four loyal allies, each endowed with a unique ability that can be deployed once per visit. These abilities allow you to manipulate your hand by drawing, discarding, or otherwise optimizing your strategies to reach the target score. After successfully winning over a ruler, you can temporarily replace one of your allies with them, gaining access to their strengths when tackling tougher challenges.

With multiple difficulty levels, a roster of 24 whimsical rulers (only 12 to be used per game), and a 16-scenario challenge booklet, For Northwood! promises countless hours of captivating gameplay, with a fresh puzzle waiting to be solved each time you play!
