The Rudders & Ramparts expansion introduces beautifully crafted artisan vessels and robust castles, perfect for decoration or ready for a military showdown in the game Feudum!

When you acquire a standard vessel or feudum, you have the option to upgrade to a deluxe vessel or castle feudum by paying just one additional shilling. A deluxe vessel grants you an extra +1 attack, while a castle feudum offers a solid +1 defense. Keep in mind, at the start of each epoch, a cost of 1 shilling must be paid to maintain each castle or deluxe vessel, or risk losing that vital advantage!

These intriguing rule enhancements introduce layers of strategic choices! Players with castles can breathe easier, as they don’t need to reinforce their feudums with subjects—each castle comes accompanied by a gold-clad "royal guard." On the flip side, deluxe vessels make attractive targets for any opponent nearby, heightening the stakes of each decision. But tread carefully; the costly upkeep can gradually deplete your resources!
