But you are not alone in this endeavor. Beyond the city limits, the Wastelanders inhabit a harsh reality, filled with the memories of the apocalypse etched into their existence. Forging a gritty society from the remnants of history, these historians and farmers know more than they let on, and they hold invaluable resources that could tip the scales.

In Euphoria: Build a Better Dystopia, players take on the role of a leader commanding a team of workers (represented by dice) and elite recruits (represented by cards). Your mission? Seize control of this fractured world by generating valuable commodities, digging tunnels to infiltrate rival territories, constructing vital markets, and collecting rare artifacts.

This unique worker-placement game flips the usual narrative on its head, as the number on each die indicates your worker's level of awareness of the dystopian reality they inhabit. Leverage this knowledge to gain benefits that alter the dynamics of the game. However, tread carefully—if the collective awareness of your workforce climbs too high, you risk losing a valuable ally to desertion.

You’ll also have access to two powerful recruit cards. One is loyal to your cause, while the other will require persuasion. Unveil the hesitant recruit by achieving milestones yourself, or cunningly allow your opponents to guide you there.

Your road to victory is fraught with challenges. Constructing markets allows you to impose restrictions on personal freedoms that will shift gameplay dynamics and open new avenues of conquest. Will you focus on securing rare artifacts from the old world that the elite covet, and use them to negotiate territory deals?
