In Etherstone, you will take on the role of faction leaders, rallying allies and harnessing your unique abilities to conquer the impending doom. Your goal? Accumulate the most victory points by strategically summoning cards, overcoming fierce threats, and optimizing your actions.

The game kicks off with an exhilarating card drafting stage, where you will select a hand of 7 cards alongside your leader card. For newcomers, pre-made hands with matching leaders are available to ease you into the gameplay. Each leader possesses a designated number of life points, a strength value, and a distinctive asymmetric ability that enhances your strategic options.

On your turn, choose wisely—only one action is permitted from:

  • Dice Draft
  • Summon
  • Attack
  • Rest
  • Void Pact

Victory hinges on your skillful maneuvers and resource management, with the game concluding when one of the end-game conditions is met:

  • The active player has no cards remaining in their hand.
  • There are no cards left in the Threat deck.
  • The victory point pool has run out of tokens.
