The gameplay is straightforward, allowing for seamless strategic choices. You start with a hand of five cards, each offering options at just one gold or for free. Generate one gold each turn with ease—no need to draw convoluted resource or energy cards to access your powerful arsenal. Each turn, the choice is yours: which card will you play to assert your dominance?

With Epic being a non-collectable game, every box includes the same 120 unique event and champion cards, plus eight double-sided cards as temporary "token" champions. Enjoy flexibility with preconstructed decks, sealed formats, and drafts for 2-4 players, with the possibility of expanding play up to 8 players with two boxes. If you're feeling adventurous, grab three boxes to create your own constructed decks or a vibrant "cube" environment for drafting!
