Discover the thrill of diving in the enchanting world of Dive, where ancient traditions meet competitive spirit on the remote island of Windbark. Every summer solstice, divers embark on a remarkable rite of passage to retrieve the village's sacred stone, launching into the depths of the ocean with the guidance of friendly sea turtles and majestic manta rays.

But beware! The ocean is also home to lurking sharks, and it's up to you to navigate these treacherous waters.

In Dive, players dive simultaneously while facing a shuffled stack of 36 transparent 'ocean' cards. Each diver has their own board, paired with five air tokens numerically marked 1-5 on both sides, featuring a shark image on one side.

As you dive deeper, the game tests your perception and observational skills. At the beginning of each round, peer into the ocean "waters" to determine how far you dare to dive—up to five levels. Strategically place your tokens on your board: If you believe a shark is lurking at a specific level, ensure that your tokens there are faced shark-side up. Guess wrong, and you'll lose all tokens at that level and any below it!

However, should you spot a sea turtle or manta ray, you’ll want to stack tokens at that level, as the highest sum earns you advancement on the descent board: move forward 1-2 spaces for a sea turtle, or land directly on the player token below you for a manta ray!

The excitement continues! If a level has been assessed and there are still air tokens on your board, dive into the next level. Once all players have run out of air tokens, the round concludes, and everyone advances on the descent board based on their successful dives. Reaching space #16 means the manta rays are no longer your ally, and misjudging the shark/no shark question will halt your progress completely for that round.

Dive also features rules for solitaire play where you can challenge the village chief, as well as optional competitive gameplay with animal companions that grant you one-time bonuses.
