Every turn begins with a roll of bespoke tackle dice, setting the stage for your fishing escapades. You’ll weigh your options wisely: will you brave the treacherous waters or return to port to sell your catch, restock supplies, and recharge your energy?

As you navigate the depths, you'll encounter nine different fish shoals lurking in shadowy waters. Size up your catch and decide if you’re willing to take risks for a potentially greater reward. Engage in flipping fish, spending dice, and growing your collection while staying vigilant against reveal and catch abilities that can shift the game's tide in unexpected ways!

As you encounter more and more unsettling discoveries, you’ll also collect Regrets cards. These chilling reminders of your choices increase your madness but reward you with more dice and boost the value of the stranger catches. Play the risk/reward game wisely—at the end, the player burdened with the most Regrets must part with their most prized mounted fish!

Resource management, strategic planning, and a careful balancing act between sanity and ambition are crucial as you strive to collect the most valuable haul of bizarre fish during this uniquely eerie week at sea.

SOLO MODE:

Experience the game solo, or in cooperative mode, taking on the role of an ichthyologist on a quest to capture and catalog every fish the ocean has to offer. Throughout an expansive campaign of dozens of games, you’ll strive to reel in every last fish, documenting their traits on a provided catalog sheet.

At the conclusion of each game, remember to shed an equal value of fish corresponding to the regrets you’ve acquired, which may lead to some tough decisions about which captures to release for another day. By the end of the campaign, you’ll have a comprehensive catalog filled with fish names, depths, values, and difficulties—valuable information for your multiplayer sessions, enhancing everyone’s fishing strategy!
