Get ready for an exhilarating showdown of wits in Decrypto! In this thrilling game, players are divided into two teams, each racing to decipher coded messages from their teammates while simultaneously trying to crack the codes from the opposing side.

Each team sets up with their own screen, featuring pockets numbered 1-4, where they securely tuck four unique word cards. This clever setup allows teammates to see the words but hides them from rival players.

In the first round, the action kicks off as one team draws a code card displaying three numbers (1-4) in a specific order, such as 4-2-1. The clue-giver then crafts a creative coded message to help their teammates guess the hidden code. For example, if the selected words are "pig," "candy," "tent," and "son," they might say "Sam-striped-pink," hoping their teammates can connect the dots to uncover 4-2-1. If they guess correctly, that’s a win! But if they fail, they receive a dreaded black mark of failure.

As the game progresses to the second round, the excitement heightens! A member from each team again provides clues aligned with their words to match another numbered code. Suppose the code is 2-4-3; the clue might be "sucker-prince-stake." The opposing team then has the chance to guess the correct number. A correct guess earns them a white mark of success, while a wrong guess means the original team must try to guess their own numbered code to avoid another black mark.

The tension builds as rounds continue until one team achieves two white marks and claims victory, or ends up with two black marks and faces defeat. Typically, games stretch over 4-7 rounds, but if the outcome remains undecided after eight rounds, the final challenge lies ahead! Both teams must guess the opposing team's words, and the team that identifies the most correct words emerges as the champion.
