Welcome to Dead Reckoning, a thrilling journey into the chaos of Denney Springs, Colorado, where peace and tranquility have been shattered!

It all began when the Environmental Protection Agency entered nearby Denver. A catastrophic mine accident erupted, unleashing thousands of gallons of Widgetanium—a bizarre experimental chemical—into the water supply. By morning, the fallout was devastating: residents began transforming into grotesque zombie-like creatures, and whispers of the recently deceased returning from the morgue sent chills through the town.

This eerie epidemic rapidly spread from Denver, leading to the dreaded “Day of Reckoning” in Denney Springs. The once-quiet community found itself overwhelmed, with scores of citizens falling prey to the menace. But as fear settled in, the townsfolk rallied together, summoning their courage to fight back.

Refugee columns formed, guiding survivors toward the safety of the mountains. Distress calls echoed as the Colorado National Guard was urgently summoned. A plan emerged for a full evacuation from a hastily established Guard base in Wagon Gap, nestled beyond the mountain range. Yet, the real challenge lay ahead: getting everyone to safety!
