In the Cyclades archipelago, off the shores of a divided Greece, players develop their cities and strive for supremacy under the watchful gaze of the gods.

Cyclades: Legendary Edition enhances the beloved Cyclades base game and its expansions, creating a gameplay experience that is more dynamic and fluid.

This edition features a strategic bidding system that shapes the actions available to each player on their turn. Players must balance their finances to optimize various actions provided by the different gods, with each player gaining the support of only one god each turn. Thanks to a new exponential bidding scale, the game offers a shorter and more dynamic bidding phase compared to the original. Plus, with six gods available instead of five, there is an increased variety of actions to explore.

During setup, players use landscape tiles to assemble a modular game board, leading to ever-changing maps and diverse strategies. The base game introduces new creatures and heroes, which provide additional strategic opportunities to build metropolises and gain a decisive edge on the battlefield. The ultimate goal is to be the first to control three metropolises.

Cyclades: Legendary Edition features three game configurations:

  • Classic mode for 3-5 players, where each player defends their own interests.
  • Team mode for 4 or 6 players, allowing players to team up in pairs and compete against others.
  • An enhanced and refined two-player mode.
