In Copenhagen, players take on the role of designers, crafting stunning façades that blend seamlessly into this bustling harbor. On your turn, choose to either pick two adjacent cards from the display (remember, you can never hold more than 7 cards) or utilize your cards to acquire façade tiles in a variety of captivating shapes and colors. While you can purchase any tile, placing one adjacent to another of the same color earns you a sweet discount!

Strategically building over specific spaces or completing designated rows unlocks exciting new abilities to aid your design journey. Points await those who successfully finish a row or column, and if you manage to fill it all with windows, expect a double score! The race to reach 12 points adds an exhilarating twist to your creative endeavor.

The game is available in multiple editions. The current offerings include a Base Game featuring exquisite cardboard tiles, and the Deluxe Edition (2022 printing) that boasts an alternative cover, stunning laser-cut acrylic tiles with transparent windows, and the exclusive "Nyhavn" and "New Facades" Queenies—expansion modules that elevate your experience. The Queenies were once sold separately but are also available in the comprehensive Copenhagen Queenie Box.

Note: Previous editions are no longer available. The original Kickstarter campaign featured a Deluxe Edition, which included acrylic tiles but not the Queenies, and a Collector's Edition that combined the base game with a Queenie set.
