On the 11th of July, 1899, at 10 a.m., the Union Pacific Express departs from Folsom, New Mexico, carrying 47 unsuspecting passengers – but little do they know that a band of ruthless outlaws is about to make their day a whole lot more exciting.

As gunfire erupts and the sound of hurried footsteps resonates from the train's roof, you'll embody one of these audacious bandits, striving to outsmart your rivals and claim the ultimate prize: wealth and glory! Can you outwit your fellow criminals and steal the suitcase filled with the Nice Valley Coal Company’s weekly pay while keeping your own treasure safe from rival thieves and the ever-watchful Marshal Samuel Ford?

Game Overview
In Colt Express, players engage in a high-stakes train robbery across five action-packed rounds. Each round unfolds in two exhilarating phases:

Phase 1: Schemin'
In this phase, players simultaneously choose 2-5 action cards to place in a common pile. Depending on the round's specifics, cards may be played face up or face down. Feeling risky? You can also opt to draw three cards from your deck instead.

Phase 2: Stealin'
Here’s where the chaos ensues! Action cards are executed in the order they were played, but beware – even the best-laid plans can go awry due to unexpected missteps!

The game unfolds on a fabulous 3D model of a train, allowing bandits to dash from car to car, run along the roof, and engage in thrilling encounters. Your mission? Punch, shoot, and steal as you navigate through the cars, all while avoiding the gunfire and scheming of other players. Each player starts the round with six action cards, unveiling dynamic strategies as they vie for gems, bags of loot, or those priceless suitcases.

As the round begins, a round card dictates the number of cards to be played and informs players whether they should play them face up or face down, individually or in pairs. Timing is everything – loot can only be snatched when your bandit is in the same car as the treasure. Use your brawn to punch rivals and send them tumbling into adjacent cars, causing them to drop coveted items!

Each character in Colt Express wields a unique power to turn the tide in their favor, such as starting with an extra card or pocketing loot instead of allowing it to fall. The thrill escalates as you can shoot at players in adjacent cars or from atop the train, complicating their strategy and potentially filling their decks with useless bullet cards.

At the end of the game, players tally their bullets fired, earning a juicy $1,000 braggart bonus for the most shot. But only one can claim victory by securing the richest haul! Will it be you? Dive into the raucous world of Colt Express and find out!
