Codenames Duet elevates the classic Codenames experience by transforming it into a cooperative challenge where teamwork is essential! Instead of competing against each other, players unite to uncover their agents, making for an engaging and strategic experience.

Setup is simple and quick: Arrange 25 word cards in a vibrant 5x5 grid. Insert a key card into the holder, revealing a unique clue for each player. Both players will view a grid that includes nine green squares, symbolizing their agents, and three ominous black squares, representing assassins. Interestingly, some agents have a dual identity, adding an intriguing twist to your investigation!

The goal is straightforward yet thrilling: collaborate to uncover all fifteen agents while avoiding the deadly assassins before time runs out! The tension builds as players take turns giving one-word clues paired with a specific number, guiding their partner to potential agents on the board.

As the player guesses, they can continue to explore options as long as they identify correct agents, allowing for a thrilling back-and-forth dynamic. However, if they mistakenly pick an assassin, the mission ends in failure. The twist? Players can revisit previous clues, maximizing their chances of success and deepening the strategic play!
