Set sail for adventure with Catan: Junior, an engaging and modified version of the classic Settlers of Catan! Perfectly designed for young adventurers aged five and up, this game provides a fantastic introduction to the beloved Catan universe.

Embark on a thrilling journey across a ring of vibrant islands where 2 to 4 players can build their pirate hideouts and encounter the enigmatic Spooky Island, home to the mysterious Ghost Captain. Each island is rich in resources—collect wood, goats, molasses, or swords, and don’t forget to snag some gold! Starting the game with two pirate hideouts on different islands, players will use their collected resources to construct ships and expand their territory. With each new hideout comes greater resource generation. But beware of the Ghost Captain lurking nearby!

The race is on! Be the first to control seven pirate hideouts and claim victory!

Here’s what makes this version stand out from the original Die Siedler von Catan: Junior:

  • The game now includes a two-player map for exciting head-to-head play.
  • The larger three- and four-player map is more symmetrical, ensuring a level playing field.
  • Resource production now features detailed die faces instead of numbers for easy gameplay.
  • Fewer event cards streamline the game, making it simpler for everyone.
  • Durability is enhanced with tiles instead of cards, eliminating wear and tear.
  • No harbors! The trading system is simplified for faster gaming and strategies.
  • New resource dynamics add fresh challenges and opportunities.
  • Race to collect Coco the Parrot tiles to snag extra moves—tied players must vacate their pieces from the islands.
  • The market is now integrated into the board, allowing for strategic trades during turns.
  • Player trading is reserved for the "advanced game," making for a focused, simpler experience.

As in Die Siedler von Catan: Junior, players must build a pirate lair before they can chain ships, adding to the strategic fun!

Get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure with Catan: Junior—where every game is a treasure-filled quest!
