Embark on an enchanting adventure in the world of Cascadia! On your turn, sketch out your very own map by matching animals with their habitats. As you create breathtaking panoramas, you'll score points for every successful sighting!

Cascadia Junior invites younger players to dive into the exciting spatial challenges of the acclaimed board game, Cascadia. This standalone version is not only fun but also educational, teaching essential skills such as pattern building, set collection, and basic addition.

Discover the wonders of nature as you learn about the majestic bears, soaring hawks, graceful elk, lively salmon, and clever foxes. You'll explore a vibrant landscape filled with mountains, wetlands, prairies, rivers, and forests!

In Cascadia Junior, players take turns drafting habitat tiles to enhance their own environment. The goal is to strategically match habitats, expanding your habitat corridors to earn more points. Plus, by forming groups of three wildlife icons on connected tiles, players gather valuable wildlife and habitat sighting tokens.

As you accumulate sighting tokens, they are added to your panorama board, allowing you to craft a unique depiction of the breathtaking Cascadian wilderness. When the game concludes, all players will flip their sighting tokens to reveal the conifer cones they have collected, with the player boasting the most cones declared the winner!

This delightful game serves as a crucial stepping stone for children, laying the groundwork for learning pattern matching essentials. As they grow more familiar with the game, they can transition to the advanced mode with wildlife scoring cards, which introduces more complex shapes for wildlife groups. Eventually, they can try the family mode of the base Cascadia game and, ultimately, embark on the full Cascadia experience!
