Immerse yourself in the enchanting landscapes of the Pacific Northwest with Cascadia, a captivating tile-laying and token-drafting game that invites you to construct your own thriving ecosystem.

In this engaging game, each player takes turns building a unique terrain filled with diverse wildlife. You’ll begin with three hexagonal habitat tiles representing the five types of habitats found in the region. On your turn, select a new habitat tile paired with a wildlife token, and strategically position it next to your existing tiles. Place the wildlife token in its appropriate habitat to start creating a vibrant environment!

The challenge lies in the four tiles displayed before you, each randomly paired with a wildlife token. Assess your options and make the best choice, or use a nature token to gain the freedom to select your preferred pairing!

Your goal is to create expansive habitats that minimize fragmentation and establish wildlife corridors. Scoring is influenced by the largest area of each habitat type at the end of the game, so aim to outdo your fellow players with bigger groups!

Simultaneously, strategically place your wildlife tokens to maximize your point potential. The scoring for wildlife is determined at random by one of the four scoring cards, adding an exciting twist to your strategy. Will your hawks find solitude away from their own kind, while the clever foxes invite diversity among their companions? Or will your bears prefer the comfort of pairing up?

In Cascadia, every decision matters! Can you successfully weave together the threads of nature to become the ultimate wildlife steward?
