The Tower is the thrilling fourth major expansion of the beloved Carcassonne game, designed to take your strategic gameplay to new heights!

Introducing tower segments, this expansion adds a fresh twist by enabling players to engage with the game like never before. Instead of the traditional Meeple placement on each turn, players can choose to:

  • Place a tower segment on a tile that has a designated space for a tower,
  • Add a tower segment to an existing tower,
  • Or position a Meeple atop a tower, effectively "finishing" it.

But that's not all! With the strategic placement of a tower segment, players can capture opponents' Meeples within their line of sight. In this engaging mechanic, the height of your tower determines your reach:

  • A 1-piece tower captures Meeples within 1 tile,
  • A 2-piece tower extends your reach to 2 tiles,
  • And so forth!

Beware! If your Meeples are captured, not only do you lose any points they may have scored, but you'll also need to fork over 3 victory points to rescue them.
